Before each keynote presentation, the Kaleidoscope Music Team invites you into a sacred half-hour of music, prayer, meditation, and a reading of the Daily Word.
Our UMMAS keynote this morning is about honoring three powerful invitations that life gives us over and over again: the call to accept change, the necessity of acknowledging loss, and the healing that becomes possible when we allow for our feelings.
Led by Rev. Tami Johns, this workshop uses imagery, music, personal reflection, and heart-centered sharing to engage you in experiential practices that awaken your divine potential. Explore how life’s journey may have created spiritual blocks, learn to map and understand those imprints, and gently return to the radiance of your true self.
Join this experiential workshop to explore sacred sound as a path to stillness, presence, and inner peace. Rev. Christy leads us in Zikr (or Dhikr)—the Sufi chanting practice of repeating the names of God to cultivate inner peace and a sense of oneness - as well as chants and practices from the Hindu, Buddhist, and Native American traditions .
This workshop invites ministers and spiritual leaders to see youth ministry not as a program, but as a mindset—one that recognizes the sacred relationships we already hold with young people: our grandkids, neighbors, nieces and nephews, graduated youth, and the kids playing down the street. Whether or not they walk through our doors, they’re part of the sacred kaleidoscope of ministry.
Join Rev. Denise Yeargin for a romp through a few strategies and practices to help your spiritual community master change.
An energetic, hands-on, and inspiring workshop that empowers participants to step into the art of affirmative prayer with confidence and clarity through fun group activities, myth-busting games, guided visualization, and real-time prayer creation.
Sound Connections for Tranquility and Hertz to Help your Hurts explains the science of sound as it connects to your personal energy fields. Whether it is physical, mental, or emotional, sound can balance the energetic flow of the chakras and meridian channels in the body.
Please join Mike Davis as we create a pop up choir! We’ll rehearse two or three simple songs in the afternoon, and then sing at the Spirit Sharing Experience that evening.
Enjoy a soul-stirring and heartfelt 30-minute performance by Rev. Mike Davis and the UMMAS Community Choir. Do you want to sing in the choir? Rehearsals are earlier in the day on Thursday at 4:30 in the International Room. Everyone is welcome to participate!
Bring your light, your laughter, and your gifts to our Spirit Sharing Talent Show - this is your chance to shine! Sign up during check-in or anytime throughout the week. Just be sure to come to rehearsal on Thursday at 4:30 in the main room to get ready for the show.
During the closing ceremony we will create magic in the room by singing together, spending time in the silence together and sharing the gifts we have received during the week.
