We returned to beautiful Lambuth Inn at Lake Junaluska Retreat Center in the mountains of North Carolina.
OPENING NIGHT
Rev. Darlene Strickland, along with the Unity of the Blue Ridge band featuring dynamic singer Kat Williams, led the opening night program “Four Keys to Inner Treasure”.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Rev. Maggy Whitehouse, a specialist in Judaeo-Christian mysticism and in Bible interpretation for the 21st century, was our Wednesday evening Keynote.
She has been widowed, divorced, healed from cancer, worked as a hospice chaplain, ridden on a Bengal tiger and survived a barracuda attack off the Barrier Reef. At the age of 56, she started working as a stand-up comedian and was a finalist in the 2015 UK Funny Women Awards.
MUSIC
The UMMAS Music Team was led this year by the amazing Rev. Christy Snow, along with her fabulous band from the Carolina Center for Spiritual Awakening in Charlotte.

Sue K. Riley is co-Founder of emPower Music & Arts, which hosts the yearly empower Music Festival and provides thousands of songs, sheet music, licensing and other resources to our ministries.
Sue is an accomplished singer, songwriter, musician, and speaker, and serves on the Unity Worldwide Ministries Board of Trustees, the Board of Directors for Summersongs, INC, and is the new Chairperson for the UWM’s Music Ministry Team.
