Accepting Change, Acknowledging Loss, Allowing Grief
2021 continues to produce change – often unwanted, sometimes mandatory, definitely unfamiliar. During our Kanuga time we’ll learn to acknowledge the many losses – including safety, health grief. Grief for most of us, up until now, is associated only with death. Our time together will encourage accepting change with this expanded understanding that, “Grief is the normal and natural emotional reaction to loss of any kind, as well as, the conflicting feelings caused by the end of or change in a familiar pattern of behavior.” (The Grief Recovery Method)
Rev. Therese Lee is a dynamic leader and consultant in the Unity movement with a passion and commitment to awaken and inspire individuals to embrace their own divinity. She is dedicated to raising consciousness by living an and trust – that create engaged spiritual life through a mindfulness of wisdom and compassion. Therese is in her fifth year serving as the Senior Minister at Unity Spiritual Center Hilton Head, South Carolina. As an Ordained Unity minister for 15 years, she is a master in creating transformational retreats, rituals, ceremonies and workshops, using storytelling, laughter, tears and meditation as catalysts for spiritual transformation. Therese is sought after as a captivating, funny, inspiring and authentic speaker, educator and facilitator. As a Certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist Therese assists others through losses of allkinds, honoring the grief and re-engaging in life, again.Therese has a personal practice of prayer, meditation and compassionate sacred service. She dedicates her working for God in honor of her now angel-winged husband, Rev. Dr. Tom Lee, and the gift of his three children and eight grandchildren. Her mission is to Love Out Loud.
