Building a Church that Loves Young People (Wherever They Are)

This workshop invites ministers and spiritual leaders to see youth ministry not as a program, but as a mindset—one that recognizes the sacred relationships we already hold with young people: our grandkids, neighbors, nieces and nephews, graduated youth, and the kids playing down the street. Whether or not they walk through our doors, they’re part of the sacred kaleidoscope of ministry.

This is not a workshop about building a youth group—it’s about building awareness, courage, and readiness to see the sacred where it already is.

YOUR PRESENTER

Rev. Miranda Koberg, CSE serves as the Associate Minister at Unity in Greensboro and the minister for expansion ministry, Next Generation of Unity. She graduated from Elon University with a B.A. in Religious Studies in 2017, completed Unity’s Certified Spiritual Educator training with UWM in 2019, and was ordained in 2024. With a history of leadership within both the Youth of Unity and Next Generation of Unity programs, Miranda now focuses on helping Unity communities bridge marketing and generational communication gaps to grow multi-generational outreach and leadership.
