Karen E. Patrick\, MSW\, is an ordained Unity minister and the founder of Unity108\, an alternative ministry that offers resources from soil to soul. A Buddhist meditation teacher and longtime energy healer\, she’s passionate about awakening the sacred connection between self\, others\, and the Divine. With over 45 years of experience in therapy\, spiritual teaching\, and the healing arts\, Karen brings grounded wisdom and compassionate presence to every space she holds. Her workshops intertwine ancient teachings—such as Mindfulness\, Dzogchen\, and Energy Medicine—with Unity principles to support clarity\, healing\, and wholeness. Formerly on faculty at Indiana University School of Social Work and the Indianapolis Gestalt Institute\, she’s recognized for her lighthearted sense of humor and down-to-earth\, heartfelt approach. Now based just outside Asheville\, NC\, Karen lives with her husband of 35 years and their Beagle\, Buddy. Her current life mission? To become the person her dog already believes she is—wise\, loving\, and always ready for a walk.

DESCRIPTION:The Soul craves only one thing\, to rest in the awareness of itself. To help grace find us\, we pursue clearing ourselves of all that is not God. Our two presenters will present the path of devotion and the path of radical acceptance to reach Realization. \n  \nRev. Ana Quintana\n \nOriginally from Puerto Rico\, Rev. Ana Quintana Bird—RevAna\, as she is known to her congregants and radio listeners—brings a unique blend of skills to her ministry. From her teens\, she has been an avid student of metaphysics. She also has a strong business background. She earned her B.A. in economics from Agnes Scott College and received additional certifications from Harvard Business School and the Kellogg School of Management. She founded two service businesses and served as president and general manager of Quintana Quintana Corp.\, a distribution company based in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. \nShe was ordained as a Unity minister in 1999. After serving as associate minister of Unity of the Triangle in Raleigh\, North Carolina\, for ten years\, she then served as the associate minister at Unity on the Bay\, Miami\, Florida\, for almost a year.  In 2023\, she founded Unity Comunidad de Luz\, Unity Community of Light\, a Bilingual Unity ministry that offers educational programming online while also offering in-person workshops and retreats in the mainland\, Puerto Rico\, and Ecuador. \nShe has become a leading voice in the Unity movement in Spanish. Her radio show\, De Viaje con RevAna\, airs on WKAQ580 Wapa Group\, the number one radio station in Puerto Rico\, which also broadcasts in the US. RevAna is passionate about sharing the Unity message to all who are open. She is blessed to be the mother of three wonderful children: Claire\, Luc\, and Lauren. \n  \nRev. Michael Gadway\n \nReverend Michael C. Gadway is an author\, teacher\, and the Spiritual Education Director for Unity of the Triangle in Raleigh NC.\nHe began his spiritual training with Roy Eugene Davis\, a direct disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda\, in 1988 and was ordained by him into the Kriya Yoga tradition and deputed by him to initiate others in Kriya Pranayama in 2003. He has made a profound examination of the Vedic sciences including Ayurveda and Vedic Astrology with Dr. David Frawley\, and an intense study of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras\, The Bhagavad Gita\, Samkhya Philosophy\, and The Upanishads under the guidance of Roy Eugene Davis as well as New Thought authors such as Charles Filmore\, Joel S. Goldsmith\, Emmet Fox\, and Ernest Holmes. \nMichael received a BA in English from St. Lawrence University later becoming a Chiropractic Physician with a degree from the University of Western States. As a Chiropractor\, he specialized in Ayurvedic and Functional Medicine. Using his skills\, he worked as the Curriculum Coordinator with Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute helping to create the second-year clinical degree program while teaching. He then went on to become the attending physician at a clinic specializing in auto-immune disorders where he used both Ayurveda and Functional Medicine to assist patients back to optimum health.
